The USPCA remains unique in its commitment to a measured and fair evaluation process. What makes our test appear challenging is our insistence that every team meets a fundamental level of proficiency, achievable only through proper and thorough training.
There are numerous certification possibilities available, regardless of your level of experience with Law Enforcement Canines or your preference for other options. There are often two outcomes from this process: a measured response (score) during testing, or a pass/fail. Every handler and dog has varying levels of training and expertise, which the US Police Canine Association is aware of. Knowledge, feedback, and training validation are essential for success.
